News From Suzanne Reid

Hello Friends. I hope you are all enjoying a full summer and have had the chance experienced Canada a little more intimately! There is so much to see and do right here at home. Even right here in K-town.

Kingston has so much to offer and has seen some incredible growth this past summer as well, and there are many reasons why:

It is well known now that the Limestone city is an incredibly safe place to live thanks to our incredible Dr. Kieran Moore. He works hard to protect Kingstonians, and we appreciate him for it. We haven’t had one death, not one person on a respirator, and there have been many one or two week stretches without one case of COVID-19 since May! All this with a bustling city and social scene. We do also have ourselves, the people of Kingston, to thank for our co-operation.

Kingston also has attracted new industry in the last couple of years. One example is the baby formula plant called Feihe, which incidentally, has the longest concrete pour in Kingston’s history! This formula plant provides for about 250 jobs here at home, and buys milk from local farmers.

We have Queen’s University, which is still going strong, increasing enrollment every year. Undergraduate applications increased by 4.3% for the 2019-2020, while applications to Queen’s programs had risen by 10.9% as of March 8, 2019.

For this and for many reasons such as connectivity to Ottawa with our third crossing of the Rideau Canal, affordable real estate, and strong business/job growth, we are attracting attention from the outside!

What have I been up to?

I have been busy adding new and valuable team members to my real estate investing business. They are all experts in investing, which they do themselves, and all have a specialty to bring to the table to help other investors. Take a look. I have included them here:

These people work together like a well oiled machine. They know what they’re doing and they do well.

If you’ve always thought the idea of earning cash from real estate would be appealing if you didn’t have all the hassles, let’s chat. I have a system that makes regular people like you very happy. It’s back to school month. Learn something new and exciting! All the best in the new school year, and stay safe.

Cheers,

Real Estate Leverage

Investing in real estate has become a popular way to diversify your investment portfolio. Everywhere we look, we’re constantly reminded of the benefits of buying property, from the many infomercials about real estate seminars, or the home shows that tote the incredible value of managing or flipping rental properties.

But it isn’t that easy. After all, buying a rental property isn’t like investing in stocks—you can’t just put down a little here and there and become a property owner. You need capital to make that purchase. And the process can often be long and drawn out. Not to mention all the risks involved, especially if you don’t do your research. But is there a way to get into the market by increasing your net worth? Try using leverage to your advantage. By doing this, you can put little to no money down, and use debt to help you realize a return.
